The Trenton Corporation
Since 1949 The Trenton Corporation has pioneered the development of petroleum wax-based anti-corrosion products. The range of Trenton products includes hot-applied microcrystalline and cold-applied wax mastics, casing fillers for pipeline and cable casings, a variety of wax tapes, and marine pile protection. Thousands of miles of gas and oil transmission pipelines are now protected by Trenton systems. They are used by major oil, gas, water and chemical processing companies throughout the world.
Trenton Firsts:

First to apply hot coating under a plastic film wrapper.

First to apply a coating material with a combination over-the-ditch cleaning, coating and wrapping machine.

First to use insulated tank trucks with self-contained heating and a variable flow pump system for filling casings.

First to develop a solventized wax-tape wrapper whereby the solvent in the wax evaporates and the wax tape then "firms up," resulting in a surface more resistant to mechanical abrasion.

First to develop an all-neoprene casing insulator adaptable to non-concentric carrier and casing.
